haha yeah. i would just recommend a standard graphics card(nothing too expensive, unless you play games or something), decent of everything, but make sure that you have a nice processor. maybe a 2.5-3 GHz processor, dual or quad core. and with that at least 2Gb RAM(which is standard). also windows 7(prolly). The soundcard could be good, though i wouldnt go overboard unless you really want it.
Overall i think it would cost less than $1000.
I would also get some good speakers(maybe from HP maybe not), or some good headphones.
Making your own computer would be nice, though I am not as knowlegeble about hardware of computers, so I would need to do a lot of researching when building one.

want help finding some parts for it? don NOT buy a complete rack I cannot stress this enough, if something happens you are fucked cuz mostly these pcs come with an os that only works with the parts already installed. if your hardware breaks some day and you replace it there is a chance that you will not be able to installe the os again once you formated your hdd. make your own, find the right parts and have a go. also building his own system is very pleasing once it really runs ;)
do you want the pc for games also or only for music and daily use?

for the pc I was thinking only music and (somewhat) animation ... Something around $1000 maybe? Id like to have a system of hardware eventually but now isnt the time budget wise. Thx for the response, any thoughts on what would be a good computer choice? I was thinking like a hewlett packard with one a those Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium cards... or is that completely unnecessary, and thx again :)
(ill pm this to you bcause idk if it notified you)
