Awesome break

This'll make a sick song when u finally finish it, bass sounds a little static to me though, could use some panning automation to make it feel whippy. Liek I said the break is awesome. U could easily add some awesome speed to it. For the bass though I would resample it but thats just me, overlay a bandstop filter n saturation maybe flanger. Automate chorus depth? Either way I think it sounds great, nothin wrong with the liquid stabs they sound quite nice. Ima try programmin some breaks n bass now lol.

you would only resample the bass because you got used to it recently ;) there is still plenty of room for more effects first, then you could think about resampling. but the bas is still not finished, I want to evolve the sound more and change the notes a bit, more controlled. I already changed the stabs a bit, more plunky and piano -like ;)

Nice build up

I love how the melody pitchbends, but Im finding myself listening for a snare that doesnt exist. Kick is nice but it cud be punchier. If I were you I would put slight echo on that melody. Great job though. Parts of the song sound sound empty though, fil those parts up with some pads and white noise

Well put good sir. This old piece had a lot of room for work, but the computer it was produced on could hardly even open the project it is so slow, so I had to stop where I was and put out a blehhh song. Cheers!

dang sounds really nice

Im really wanting some kind of quickly modulated rapid reese of some kind though. Bandpass filter a really thick reese and modulate the cutoff n resonance alot (reverb and echo too)... should be sort of distant though so it doesnt tarnish the sick vibe you've got goin here. Beats are also really nice... (i gotta get me some new samples somehwere). I be sorry for listening on it with ipod headphones though. Great song, looking forward to finished vers.
