Very cool

Would love to hear some more warping pads in the intro (subtle of course). To me the whole after drop part sounds like its clipping like mad, cool drop btw, love the exit out of the chill arp thing. Also tasty drums. Would love to hear some speedy hi-hat edits in there. Agreed with quarl on the kick being too high though. Bass mods sound a lil bit tone lacking but thats up to preference I guess. Modulation is cool+well synced, but really feels overpowered by the kick and snare. Mess with the bass till it sounds cleaner but dirtier (crappy advice lol) at same time lol, then bring it up in mix. Bring out other elements than the kick and snare when the drop hits more... hope my advice helps lol

Like to hear some advices from someone that actually know*s something about music I will definitely
apply some of that, thx for review..I will try to do my best...

prty decent

lame bass though and bass sequencing, it seems too loud, too muddy. Drums are nice tho

DJDela responds:

Well, it is supposed to sound "dirty" as you say, and when i think of it, it might really be too loud.
I appreciate for being honest, unlike all the a**holes giving zero for no reason.
Thank you for comment.

Was gonna comment on how I liked the sidechaining

but then i realized it probably wasnt on purpose.....
needs to... be a song.
More instruments... Better percussiion at the very least that cuts through

electroskunk responds:

there is a lot more that has been done to the song, this is just what i rendered out for its first shot, i agree it does need to be put more into a song, i have to shorten a lot, i basically had all the parts to it figured out and wanted something basic and loopy before i got to messing with envelopes and proper timing xD im still trying to get that bass smoothed out. the percussion being the finer point to why i need more poizone knowledge

To be honest, i am still also learning about compression and got lucky with that one xD

MAH NAMES QWAARL!!!!

ARRRG, I feel like im in a carnival fun house.
I would say too much crazy panning overall
drop is pretty cool and reminds me of noisia meditation
I also feel like the snare could use more fat 200hz punch, it sounds a lil clappy (not crappy with a typo, but clappy like a clap)

Quarl responds:

lol, thanks man. i don't own a pair of headphones at the moment so it's good to know that the panning is over the top. also, i've been told that about the snare before, i'll have to keep that in mind.

just one lil thing

some of the vocals need a bit better sync to the beat, especially when she says "this" otherwise its delcious

djhoohaa responds:

Yea kinda had this one on hold then never really got round to finishing it. maybe we will one day lol, Thanks for the review xD

tasty drums

the bassline seems a lil panned imo, i would take the fruity flanger off, as it generally weaken the basslines fury, 3:04 is pretty sick tho, and your build ups are delicious

kulajs responds:

Thanks for review and advice man appreciate that;)

quite nice but not drum n bass

this is far more techno, but its rather enjoyable

Tyurru responds:

Thanks, and i didn't know what catigory to put it under lol

omg garageband

7/10 becuz of that loop and the garageband synth usage. Otherwise its very well put together especially for a gb song

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

OH MAN, I completley forgot this song had a loop in it, but that loop is actually WAY different than it is from the loop library, so its really not preset or anything :D

good intro, lacking climax

Very nice intro with the atmospheric sounds, also nice lil edit @ 1:34, and nice melodies all throughout. Percussion needs ALOT of work, snare + kick really do not punch through and they are bad samples it sounds like. Really work on getting fat kicks+snares by layering+compression, and really shortening decay. Also, the high hats are getting drowned out to the point where they dont provide much rhythm at all. Work mostly on eqing+compression is needed. panning FX at 0:36 are pretty cheesy also. I would also say that delay is a lil out of control on 1-2 synths. Other than the production issues i enjoyed the song, more subtle things are needed throughout though.

TiGeR responds:

Thx for the CC. The climax is supposed to be the last part starting at 03:51. I personally found it an obvious climax, but meh whatever. I guess I can't please everyone.

AudioVision responds:
